Sleep difficulties can affect every part of family life. Through my years working in schools and education, I have seen first-hand how sleep impacts children’s emotional wellbeing, behaviour, confidence and ability to learn. Tired children often struggle not because they are unwilling, but because they are exhausted.

At the same time, I recognised how deeply sleep deprivation affects parents too. In today’s busy world, when parents are running on little rest, it becomes harder to feel patient, present and able to perform at their best - both at work and at home. Sleep is not simply about nights; it influences the wellbeing of the entire family.

My passion has always been supporting families, building trusting relationships and creating spaces where parents feel listened to and understood. I believe that with the right guidance, reassurance and knowledge, families can move towards calmer nights and more confident days together.

I am a qualified teacher and Level 6 certified sleep practitioner with over 15 years’ experience working with children and families across educational and childcare settings.

My professional background allows me to view sleep through a developmental lens - understanding how sleep connects with behaviour, emotional regulation, learning and family dynamics. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I use evidence-informed strategies that respect each child’s stage of development and individual temperament.

Combining educational experience with specialist sleep training enables me to support families in a practical, realistic way, translating research and developmental knowledge into guidance that works within everyday family life.

Seeking sleep support can feel like a big step, and many parents worry they may be judged or expected to follow rigid approaches that do not feel right for their family.

My approach is gentle, collaborative and completely non-judgemental. There is no one “correct” way to parent or support sleep, and together we will create a plan that aligns with your parenting values, your child’s needs and your family’s routines.

I work alongside families to provide reassurance, understanding and clear guidance, helping parents feel confident in supporting their child’s sleep without pressure or unrealistic expectations. My aim is not only to improve sleep, but to empower parents who feel calm, capable and supported throughout the process.
